The Fantastic Four: First Steps— Real Science in the MCU: Fantastic Four Physics
Program Description
Believe it or not, there’s some real science in superhero movies. When telling a story about super-powered humans on an alternate Earth, the team behind Fantastic Four: First Steps consulted physics professor Clifford Johnson. He’ll share insights about how his expertise helped shape the design and plot of the movie. How might teleportation and faster than light travel work? Can you surf a neutron star? Real-world physics is on-screen in every equation Reed Richards scribbles on a chalkboard and we’ll explore the mix of science and imagination, and discuss why it’s an important balance.
Film Synopsis
